Dear Inspiration,

Inspired: Or is it just an Illusion 

Education has always been instilled in me.

From childhood all the way to my adult life and this made me believe that my one and only fear was failure. On the other hand it took me many learning experiences to figure out I never really took time out to figure out what was best for me. Life’s misfortunes made me give up on many relationships and made my heart cold but in reality all I really needed to prove is that I have the determination to make a difference in another person’s life. Also, to love everlastingly and sincerely.

Inner Beauty

Take a look into my heart,
and you’d think I’m fine.
I am that type.
I cover things so that I don’t look weak,
so that I don’t get hurt.
I am labeled strong and carefree,
with a heart full of confidence,
and my head on straight.
But each day I’m drifting farther and farther from that,
and into a burning pit.
The pain is to deep to see.
If you don’t know what to look for.
I’m dragging you in,
you’d better hold tight and not get lost,
you may not come out if you see the truth.
I’m helpless and unworthy and need someone to help me find my way,
to my own true happiness,that happiness I found in you.

Fireworks are my new Butterflies

Dear Fireworks:

The reason why I wake up in tears and go to sleep smiling. The joy I know to feel, to think, to see Fireworks in the most genuine way possibly. Fireworks, if I could I would’ve made things a lot different. Your glow, may have just brighten the sky but Fireworks you added a flame to my world that cannot be replaced. How you shoot yourself into the sky and into life in such a peaceful manner is breath taking.

Simple ways to budget money.

Some of the steps I take to budget my money properly:

  1. Set a money goal
  2. Add up all monthly bills
  3. Subtract monthly bills from monthly pay
  4. Out of remaining money calculate how much you want to go into savings
  5. Use the automatic feature to transfer money out of checking to savings
  6. Pay all your bills throughout the month (EX: pay rent in 2 payments)
  7. Note: Gas money and the food is considered a bill
  8. If you want to save a large amount of money create a spreadsheet with your goal.
  9. NEVER get off track because it can set you back
  10. Any extra money you have, put it in your savings account.

This is a pretty old poem I wrote but I felt like my blog should feature it. And my poem lives on:

The time has expired
I swear.. “I” must retire
but the lust i have for you
is more than I acquire
I admire “Your” desire
to become my other fire…..
but I require….
your everlasting serenity
to become part of my identity
True enough you have bought
me to another thought…
my world is in a swirl
I cant seem to keep it together
it reminds me of the weather
without any predictions
the restrictions are my convictions
that make me wanna surrender
but I continue to wait
because this may be my fate….
